At least two people were killed and eight others injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine's south-eastern Dnipropetrovsk region, military governor Oleksandr Hancha said on Friday.

Russia targeted the city of Nikopol, several communities in the Nikopol district and one community in the Kryvyi Rih district, Hancha said.

According to the governor, Russian forces carried out more than 30 attacks using drones and artillery.

Ukraine has been defending itself against Russia's full-scale invasion for more than four years.
