
Kota Kinabalu: Two women were injured after a Perodua Myvi and a Nissan Navara collided along Tuaran Bypass near Taman Cerah on Tuesday night.
The Fire and Rescue Department said a 33-year-old woman driving the Myvi sustained abdominal injuries while her passenger was trapped inside the car with cuts to her face and right wrist.
A team of firemen from the Lintas station rushed to the scene about 10 minutes after receiving the 8.57pm distress call.
The trapped victim was freed and both women were sent to hospital by the Department’s Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit for further treatment.
