Netflix’s upcoming Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano event continues to generate interest by adding notable names from the MMA world.
The card, promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, already featured several high-profile matchups including Francis Ngannou vs Philipe Lins.
Now another major fight has been added, with Nate Diaz set to face Mike Perry on the same show.
Nate Diaz vs Mike Perry added to Netflix’s Rousey vs Carano event

Diaz’s appearance at the Intuit Dome will mark his first MMA fight in nearly four years.
The Stockton veteran last competed in the sport at UFC 279 in September 2022, where he submitted Tony Ferguson in the fourth round. That fight ended his second run with the UFC and opened the door for opportunities outside the promotion.
During his time away from MMA, Diaz focused on boxing. He lost a high-profile bout against Jake Paul in August 2023 before returning the following summer to defeat former UFC rival Jorge Masvidal in July 2024.
Now he returns to MMA against Perry, the former UFC fighter who has become one of the most recognisable names in bare-knuckle fighting.
Nate Diaz’s MVP fight contrasts with recent UFC comeback hints
Diaz’s decision to compete on the Netflix card also highlights a shift in his recent messaging about the future of his career.
In the past year, the Stockton fighter repeatedly hinted that he could return to the UFC, often referencing “unfinished business” inside the promotion. Those comments fuelled speculation about a comeback fight, particularly as the UFC explored major future events such as a potential White House card.
The 40-year-old himself publicly expressed interest in stepping back into the Octagon for a trilogy fight against Conor McGregor.
Instead, his next move will come with a rival promotion, which has caught many fans off guard.
