A UFC star threatened to fight the police while he was being arrested at an airport after being kicked off a flight for public drunkenness.
Footage captured on Sunday (21 June) shows Dustin Poirier telling an officer at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport: “I'll fight you right now.”
Before calling for back-up, the officer replied: “I don't want to fight.” He then raised his Taser as Poirier made his way towards him.
Another officer then joined, placing handcuffs on the UFC star. He was later released on bail.
In a statement on Instagram, Poirier said he is seeking help after finding life difficult following his retirement.
"I'm at the point where I need some help, walking away from fighting hasn't been easy on me and alcohol isn't the answer," Poirier wrote.
