• He was removed from a flight for public drunkenness and subsequently threatened to fight a police officer.
• Footage shows an officer raising a Taser before Poirier was handcuffed by additional officers.
• Poirier was later released on bail following the incident.
• He posted on Instagram that he is seeking help, admitting life has been difficult since his retirement and that alcohol is not the answer.
