Maran UMNO Youth chief Mohd Radzi Rahimi and three family members died when a falling tree crushed their vehicle on the old Kuala Lumpur-Bentong road.
TEMERLOH: Maran UMNO Youth chief Mohd Radzi Rahimi was among the four people killed after the four-wheel drive vehicle they were travelling in was crushed by a falling tree along the Kuala Lumpur-Bentong old road near Janda Baik, Bentong this afternoon.
Jerantut UMNO chief Haris Salleh Hamzah, in a Facebook post today, said the tragedy claimed the lives of Mohd Radzi, his wife, child and brother-in-law.
“May Allah SWT forgive all their sins, bestow His mercy upon them and place them among the righteous,” he said.
He also extended his condolences to Mohd Radzi’s family and prayed that they be granted strength, patience and fortitude in facing the tragedy.
Earlier, the media reported that four individuals were killed and a child was injured in the crash.
