[UNOFFICIAL] Negeri Sembilan polls: After previously winning by just 78 votes, BN cruises to victory in Juasseh with a 4,034-vote majority

SHAH ALAM – Barisan Nasional (BN) has not only retained the Juasseh State Legislative Assembly seat in the Negeri Sembilan polls, but also recorded a commanding victory with a significantly larger majority than in the previous election.

Based on the unofficial results as of 7.48pm, BN candidate Datuk Ismail Lasim secured 6,904 votes to defeat Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Mohd Aidil Abdullah, who garnered 2,870 votes and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidate Mohd Zuhaimi Md Yusof, who received 506 votes.

The result gave BN a 4,034-vote majority after all 33 polling channels had been counted, further strengthening the party's grip on a seat previously regarded as one of the state's marginal constituencies.

Earlier, Umno secretary-general Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki announced that Ismail had won by a 4,034-vote majority after polling 6,904 votes.

In the previous Negeri Sembilan polls, BN retained the Juasseh state seat by a slim 78-vote majority, making this year's 4,034-vote majority a significant improvement.

Previously, BN won the Juasseh state seat with a 78-vote majority.
