Valencia coach Rino Gattuso has welcomed new signing Iago Herrerin.
The goalkeeper penned terms to June this week after successful trials.
Ahead of facing Espanyol, Gattuso said: "He will be in the squad.
"I am very happy with him. He has lost 6-7 kilos in three weeks. He has made a big effort to sign with us. He is a goalkeeper with a high level and experience, which was our priority.
"He has worked very well and has gotten in shape."
