MANILA, Philippines — Aiza Maizo-Pontillas officially joins the rebuilding squad Galeries Tower Highriser for the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2026 season.
The Petro Gazz winger played steadily on offense, propelling the Angels to a historic double in 2025 after they reigned supreme in both the All-Filipino and Reinforced conferences.
Galeries officially welcomed the veteran opposite hitter on Monday afternoon.
“Welcome to Galeries, Aiza Maizo-Pontillas,” the franchise said on a post.
The 37-year-old hitter will use her lofty experience to bolster the lineup of the Highrisers, which has not cracked in yet to a quarterfinals berth since joining the league in 2023.
