THE 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour goes to Negros Occidental with a preseason double-header at the Victorias City Coliseum on Saturday.
Fan-favorite Creamline Cool Smashers take on the Galeries Tower Highrisers at 6:30 p.m. and the Capital 1 Solar Spikers collide with Farm Fresh Foxies at 4 p.m. in a pair of tune-up games.
The well-rested Cool Smashers prevailed in their last game against the Nxled Chameleons on July 8 with Michele Gumabao leading the statistical sheet with 18 points on 16 attacks, a block and an ace. She was backed by Lorie Bernardo who scored 13 points.
Galeries, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a loss against Nxled on Aug. 1. In that game, the Highrisers were led by Erika Deloria and Jean Asis, who scored 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Creamline was supposed to slug it out with Capital 1 last Aug. 7 in Santiago City, Isabela but the match was postponed due the weather disturbance.
Since the On Tour is a preseason exhibition tournament, the cancelled games in Santiago City will no longer push through.
Meanwhile, Capital 1 looks to cap the tournament with a victory after a straight sets loss to Nxled on July 25 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
Farm Fresh is coming off a stunning victory over Nxled with Trisha Tubu and Ces Molina both churning out 16 points for the Foxies.
After the preseason tournament, Creamline, PLDT, Farm Fresh and Nxled will compete in the 2026 PVL Invitational Conference with two foreign guest teams EST Cola of Thailand and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.
