Lee Hendrie feels it's crucial Aston Villa support manager Unai Emery in the market.
The former Villa midfielder says keeping Emery happy will be key to their future.
I think the main key thing for Villa is trying to keep hold of Unai as well and I think bringing key additions to the football club can only help," Hendrie told Sky Sports.
I think that's what it has been all about, I think the transitioning, turning the football club around from going down into the Championship, back into the Premier League and bringing key players in, key people in who can work with the football club that's going to take it forward.
So, it's going to be a massive season for them.
You look at the season last season where there were the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, who didn't really hit the heights did they?
So that's where they really had to progress and really have a good go which they did. Which makes it a tough season next season because these teams are going to be a lot stronger and that's where Villa need to be prepared for that."
