Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan Information Chief Datuk Azis Jamman claims Perikatan Nasional Chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin offered the party positions and kickbacks in exchange for supporting PN, but it chose to hold on to its principles.
“Even after GE15 when it was a hung parliament, Warisan was the first to declare support for Anwar and would like to see him as Prime Minister and fulfil his promises in returning Sabah’s rights as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963,” he said.
He urged supporters to accept the party’s “loss” in the recent GE15 with an open heart.
