Warning of thunderstorm, heavy rain, strong winds in 8 states

SHAH ALAM - Eight states will most likely be hit by heavy rain and thunderstorms tonight, says Meteorological Department Malaysia (MetMalaysia).

The states expected to be hit by the bad weather were Pahang, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur until 9pm.

Meanwhile, a thunderstorm warning has been issued in Labuan and several districts in Sabah like Pedalaman and Pantai Barat will be affected by heavy rain.

In Sarawak there was no no thunderstorm warning issued but heavy rain would befall on Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.

However, MetMalaysia from its portal says, there were no warning issued for Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka dan Johor.
