NLEX is leaving no stones unturned in its bid to redeem itself following another quick playoff exit during the just-concluded PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.

The Road Warriors have tapped former San Antonio Spurs big man Cady Lalanne as their import for the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup set to start in the middle of March.

The team made the announcement on its official social media accounts on Monday.

The Jong Uichico-mentored NLEX side is coming off another disappointing campaign in the All-Filipino conference after bowing to eventual champion San Miguel Beer in their quarterfinal tussle.

But with Lalanne, the Road Warriors hope they will have a legitimate big man with vast international basketball experience who could plug in the hole in the middle and bring in the needed inside presence.

The 33-year-old Haitian was selected 55th overall by the Spurs in the NBA 2015 Draft.

Lalanne would be assigned shortly to the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, where he would go on to average 13.3 points and 7.6 rebounds in the 2016 season.

The former University of Massachusetts has since taken his act overseas that saw him play in Puerto Rico, China, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, and just recently with the Kaohsiung Aquas in Taiwan, where he averaged 15.8 points and 9.5 rebounds.
