
MANILA, Philippines — Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS-RO) on Friday said that water rates would rise again in the 2nd quarter, starting in April, due to foreign currency and tariff adjustments.
Maynilad and Manila Water residential customers who consume up to 20 cubic meters will have no adjustments for the period.
Meanwhile, Maynilad customers consuming 10 cubic meters or less will pay an additional P0.27 per month, while those consuming over 20 and 30 cubic meters will pay an additional P1 per month and P2.07 per month, respectively.
Manila Water customers under the regular rates or those consuming 10 cubic meters or less will pay an additional P0.14 per month, while those consuming 20 and 30 cubic meters will pay an additional P0.29 per month, and an additional P0.58 per month, respectively.
