He said they have joined in the election race not to "fight to be a minister, but to save our country from those irresponsible."

"Don't be defensive, a lot of accusations saying that Pejuang is Mahathir’s personal agenda, punya sial (that does not make sense)," he said before the coalition which is contesting under Pejuang announced their candidates for GE15

He said Pejuang cheif Tun Mahathir Mohamad has withdrawn from politics after his 15 year premiership and "he passed the responsibility to other leaders.

"What happened? Our country has only worsen.

"If Tun is crazy for power, he wouldnt withdraw his position in 2004 as the premier. If situation calls for it, if there is no one else to help this country," he said.
