West Ham boss David Moyes was satisfied after their 2-0 win against Wolves.

Gianluca Scamacca and Jarrod Bowen scored for the vital victory.

Moyes later said: "I wouldn't have said our performance was miles better but we finished today and we defended better. Gianluca [Scamacca] and Jarrod [Bowen] had two brilliant connections with the ball.

"The boys are in great spirits and the new players have gelled in. The big thing was to get them playing as a team. Introducing new players and trying to get the players here last season back at the levels they were at.

"There are some that can go into the team right away. Gianluca had a virus for three weeks otherwise I'd have given him more playing time, which maybe wasn't obvious to everyone. And he's still not quite there I think you can see 60-65 minutes is about right for him in the Premier League at the moment.

"I think the boys we've brought in will improve over time and time is something you need in Premier League. Bowen came back from the international break and said how thrilled he was. The most important thing is he plays well for us."
