I'm not chinese descent but i enjoy Chinese New Year celebrations every year. It's a wonderful Spring Festival that is celebrated by Chinese communities around the world. It is a time for family reunion, delicious food, colourful decorations, and traditional customs that symbolize good luck and prosperity.

Why i enjoy chinese new year EVERY YEAR?

It is because i can enjoy the excitement of the lion dance every where i go.

The lion dance is a traditional Chinese performance that is often seen during Chinese New Year celebration and other festive occasions. It is believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

The lion dance is a colorful and dynamic performance that involves dancers dressed in lion costumes mimicking the movements of a lion. The dance is accompanied by the beat of drums cymbals, and gongs, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere that captivates audiences of all ages.

I love to see the dancer have skill to mesmerizing spectacle that combines acrobatic skill, rhythmic precision, and cultural symbolism. Dancers adorned in elaborate lion costumes bring the mythical creature to life, embodying its playful and powerful nature through a series of intricate movements and choreographed routines.

And I also like the rhythmic beat of drums, cymbals, and gongs that accompany the performance. The thunderous sound of the drums sets the pace and energy of the dance, while the clashing of cymbals and the ringing of gongs add layers of excitement and intensity to the experience.

I can see that the lion dance is not just a performance, but a communal experience that brings people together in celebration and unity. Audiences of all ages are drawn to the excitement and energy of the dance, creating a sense of shared joy and connection that transcend cultural boundaries.

Watching the dancer eating orange in the middle of their performance is so cute. That is my experience of celebrating Chinese New Year eventhough i am not chinese and i don't have a chinese relatives but the lion dance is bring joy to me whenever witnessing their performance.
