Analyst Skip Bayless had a message for pop star Taylor Swift.
Pop star Taylor Swift just had the biggest day of her life after marrying NFL star Travis Kelce at the Madison Square Garden.
The Swift-Kelce wedding was a massive event, but the date collided with a much-anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and Cape Verde.
Following what could only be described as the game of the tournament between the two sides, analyst Skip Bayless expressed his anger toward Swift.

In a thrilling contest, Cape Verde equalized twice against the defending champions before ultimately falling 3-2 in extra time.
Bayless seemed glued to his screen and used the game as a chance to take a shot at Swift and Kelce on X.
“How dare Taylor Swift make her guests miss this Messi-Cape Verde knockout match. They aren’t even allowed to keep tabs on their phones! She should’ve postponed,” Bayless wrote.
Considering the guests weren’t allowed to carry their phones, it’s likely that barely any guests caught a glimpse of the game.
In Swift’s defense, no one expected Cape Verde to push Argentina to this extent, and for those in attendance, the pop star’s wedding was undoubtedly the bigger event between the two.
