
SANDAKAN: A 47-year-old woman died after falling from the 23rd floor of a residential building here on Tuesday.
Sandakan District Police Chief ACP Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek said CCTV footage showed the local walking out of the elevator before the fall.
Advertisement“We received a report about a person falling from Block A, Borneo Cove Residences, at Jalan Buli Sim Sim, around 8pm,” he said.
The woman’s body was found sprawled on the walkway leading to the building.

The last footage showed her exiting the elevator on the 23rd floor,” he added.
The victim, who sustained severe head and leg injuries, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was later sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital for a post-mortem.
