A woman allegedly caused a disturbance at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 on Tuesday after shouting in Chinese and demanding that Malaysia, Singapore and Japan “surrender to China”.
A video posted on Reddit showed the woman shouting near a boarding area as travellers looked on.
The Reddit user who uploaded the video claimed the woman had been livestreaming on TikTok before a man believed to be her acquaintance took her phone and tried to lead her away.
The woman allegedly continued shouting, counting down and warning that “everyone dies together” if she died in Malaysia.
The user claimed airport officials intervened after about 15 minutes and removed her from the area, but her identity, nationality and subsequent whereabouts have not been officially confirmed.
