Woman Jumps Out Of Moving E-Hailing Car In Klang, Claims Driver Was 'Watching' Her
A viral video recently showed a woman shocking motorists when she suddenly flung the door of a moving car open and jumped out of the vehicle.

She later told police that the reason why she did it was out of fear for her safety as she believed the driver was “watching” her throughout the ride.

What clip showed

Based on the clip which has been making rounds on social media, it showed the car travelling near Taman Eng Ann in Klang.

At the 30-second mark, the right passenger door suddenly swings open and a woman is seen leaping out from the vehicle.

In doing so, she lost her balance and tumbled across the road, sending her shoes and belongings being strewn all over as well.

Despite visibly shaken by her act, the woman manages to scramble to her feet relatively quickly and gathers her belongings.

She is also seen running back to the e-hailing vehicle, where she seemingly confronts the driver briefly before leaving the scene with a friend who was also in the car.

Accused driver of unwanted ‘watching’

North Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao confirmed the incident when queried, saying it took place at about 9am on Friday (May 1).

He added that when the woman jumped out of the car, the driver immediately stopped and saw that she had suffered minor injuries.

The passenger claimed she acted out of anxiety and concern for her safety, alleging that the driver had been observing her through the rear-view mirror without clear reason.

“Following the incident, the driver cancelled the trip and, with the help of a motorcyclist at the scene, the woman was taken to a nearby clinic for treatment,” he said as quoted by NST.

A police report was lodged by the e-hailing driver as a precautionary measure.
