Kota Kinabalu: Rotarians understand that peace is more than just the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, equality and fairness.
Datuk Aminah Ambrose, President of the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl, said this at the “World Understanding and Peace Day” event held at the Hakka Hall Likas, last Sunday.
“As Rotarians, it is our responsibility to address the root causes of conflict and inequality in our communities and beyond,” she said.
