xenon.earth is creating some of the craziest (and darkest) bag charms based on Labubu called LAVOODOO.
Looking as if Kasing Lung’s The Monsters series grew up in a dystopian future listening to Carti, these LAVOODOO bag charms are what we imagine Sid from Toy Story would have created if he were looking to cash in on the bag charm craze.
Having already dropped Series #1, with characters like Harvy, Frank, and Jim, these dolls stand at 7in x 4in (some are as tall as 10 inches due to the hoods) and are put together with haphazard stitching, buttons, rivets, scrap material, and a whole lot of metal accents. Each of the LAVOODOO charms is also painted silver and comes with an exclusive one-of-a-kind magic Omni pen that is intended for you to “spark the vision” with.
Each character has a brief and uncanny side story as well. For example, Harvey’s reads: “Harvey shows up in the seams—between moments, between thoughts. He never says much, but his silence fills the room like thread pulling tight. I’ve seen him seal letters shut, his thoughts come looped and knotted—patterns only a few can follow.”
As drop #1 has sold out, the brand has started its Series #2 drop with a blind box approach where one lucky purchaser has the chance to get a 1 of 1 mystery “Shadow” box.
