France coach Didier Deschamps insists he has no problem with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane pushing for a Karim Benzema recall.
Benzema hasn't been considered since before the 2016 Euros after being involved in an alleged blackmail plot.
Zidane this week has declared Benzema deserves to be called up by Deschamps.
But the Les Bleus coach shrugged: "I have no problem with him saying that. He is the coach of Real Madrid, so his role is to talk like that."
And while Deschamps did not delve into details about his view on the current situation with Benzema, it seems unfeasible that the Lyon-born striker will ever play for his country again, despite the proclamations of his Madrid coach.
