Yellow alert lifted in Metro Manila, nearby areas — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines —The yellow rainfall warning has been lifted in Metro Manila and in other areas, but the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that light to moderate rains would prevail in the capital due to the southwest monsoon or "habagat."

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the yellow rainfall alert, however, remains in Bataan, Batangas(Nasugbu, Lian, Tuy, Balayan, Calatagan), Cavite(Ternate, Maragondon, Magallanes, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Alfonso, Cavite City, Kawit, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza, Naic) and Zambales(San Marcelino, Cabangan, San Felipe, San Narciso, Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio, Olongapo).

Areas under yellow rainfall warning should expect moderate rains in the next three hours.

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expectedwithin the next 3 hours in Tarlac, Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite(Amadeo, General Trias, Indang, Mendez, Silang, Tagaytay, Trece Martires, Bacoor, Carmona, Dasmarinas, Gen. Meanwhile, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Camarines Norte, Aklan, Antique and Capiz should expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
