
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will experience cloudy weather with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms due to the prevailing southwest monsoon (habagat), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Benguet, Abra, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Palawan, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to habagat.
The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, while Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is affecting Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga(Lubao, Floridablanca, Porac, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Angeles, Mabalacat, Magalang, Arayat, Masantol), Bulacan(Hagonoy, Paombong, Calumpit, Pulilan), Cavite(Maragondon, Ternate, Magallanes), Batangas(Nasugbu), Tarlac(Mayantoc, San Clemente, San Manuel, Moncada, Anao), and Quezon (General Luna, Guinayangan, Lopez), which could persist within 3 hours and affect nearby areas.
