2 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, scattered rain over PH

The western section of Luzon would have cloudy skies with scattered rain due to the southwest monsoon (habagat), and parts of Visayas and Mindanao would have similar weather brought about by the easterlies, state weather bureau Pagasa said early Tuesday morning.

In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, Pagasa said Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan in western Luzon would have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to habagat.

Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro would also have partly cloudy to overcast skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides could occur in areas experiencing moderate to sometimes heavy rain.

Meanwhile, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region would have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The rest of the country would have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain from localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in areas experiencing moderate to sometimes heavy rain. TMT
