KUNAK: The Kunak District Council (MDKNK) has acquired 30 kiosk units, each equipped with solar panels, for small traders.

Its Executive Officer Mohd Nazri Pintal said the kiosks, approved by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Local Government, are aimed to provide convenience and benefits through MyKiosk provisions to small traders at low rental rates.

It is part of the Madani government’s initiative to help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) regain competitiveness, particularly in enhancing their business capabilities.

“Kunak has obtained 30 MyKiosk units, where we initially received 10 units in 2023 through the Ministry’s MyKiosk Programme,” he said. “A total of 14 more units were recently delivered here, while the remaining six units will be received in the near future,” he told Daily Express.
