BEIJING: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Kuril Islands at 0149 GMT on Saturday, reported Xinhua, quoting the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.
The epicentre, with a depth of 98.1 km, was initially determined to be at 50.52 degrees north latitude and 156.53 degrees east longitude. - Bernama
