
NEW YORK: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 123 km SSE of Kurilsk, Russia, at 1740 GMT on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre, with a depth of 15.1 km, was initially determined to be at 44.25 degrees north latitude and 148.63 degrees east longitude. -Bernama
