
Tuaran: More than 800 Parti Warisan Tuaran Division members have left the party to join Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Sulaman Division led by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
They were led by former Tuaran Warisan Youth deputy chief Abdul Salim who handed over their membership forms to Hajiji, who is also Gagasan Rakyat President.
With the entry of the former Warisan members, 16 new Gagasan Rakyat branches are set to be established.
“With the addition of these former Warisan members, Gagasan Rakyat’s strength will be bolstered, especially in Sulaman,” Hajiji said.

Hajiji is also Sulaman Assemblyman and has represented the constituency since 1990 when he was formerly in Umno and Bersatu.
