Tight match schedule took a toll on players: Coach

Kota Kinabalu: The tight schedule was to blame for Sabah’s 0-3 loss to Perlis in the fifth and sixth place play-off at the 58th TNB Tun Razak Cup hockey tournament on Thursday night.

Head coach Hasrul Jideh said five games in five days had taken a heavy toll on his players and they were unable to play their best.

“The match against Perlis was unfair for Sabah due to the match schedule.
