PENAMPANG:

The State Health Department (JKNS) is urging parents to send their children for free polio vaccination through the Sabah Polio Immunisation Campaign (Kips) before it ends.

Its Director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi said the campaign would end once the department has achieved a 95 per cent immunisation rate for the polio disease.

“We need to move on to the next stage which is the post-campaign monitoring phase, as we cannot be campaigning forever,” she told a press conference at the 2020 National Level World Food Safety Day celebration at Pasar Am, Donggongon, here, Thursday.
