Breaching quarantine: Man, girl compounded in Beaufort

BEAUFORT: A 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl under mandatory quarantine were compounded for breaching quarantine at separate locations here.

District Police Chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said the man, from Kg Klias Baru, was arrested at the District Office at 9.25am on Oct 29.

He said the man, who was wearing the quarantine wristband, was said to have gone to the District Office to submit a form that has got something to do with the local Chinese community leader (Kapitan) matters.
