350 families on Danawan Island get aid

Kota Kinabalu: Tzu Chi Foundation (Tawau) volunteers, joined by members of Semporna Heroes, contributed relief goods to 350 families on Danawan Island, about 34km from the coast of Semporna. 

The team was escorted by members of Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM), the Welfare Services Department (JKM) as well as Rela. 

Each family received three packs of rice (10kg each), two packs of milk powder (900g each), three packs of flour (1kg each), three packs of sugar (1kg each), two packs of salt, cooking oil (5kg), soy sauce (1kg) and face masks.
