Sabah Weightlifting support Sukma delay

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Weightlifting Association (SWA) has supported the decision by the Sukma Supreme Committee on Monday to change the date of the 20th Sukma Games to 2022.

The biennial Games was originally scheduled to be held in July this year in Johor before the Ministry decided to postpone it to April next year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“For the safety of all parties concerned including the athletes, coaches, technical, non-technical officials as well as the spectators, Sabah Weightlifting Association fully agreed with the latest decision,” said its president Philip Gisan.
