Kota Kinabalu: A random check showed some stubborn workers of coffee shops, eateries and sundry stores failed to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) imposed by the Ministry of Health and Sabah Government.

At least 31 workers such as shop assistants and those involved in preparing food were found to have violated the SOPs despite repeated reminders from the authorities.

The random check was carried out Tuesday morning in Penampang and city proper following daily reported cases of SOP violators, particularly on “not wearing” and “not properly wearing” face mask and physical distancing at workplaces.
