The father of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is confident he will sign a new deal.
Ramos' absence in key fixtures this season has led to some awful defensive performances, which has surely put pressure on Florentino Perez to get an extension with his captain signed, although LaLiga Santander clubs are being forced to drastically cut costs at this time.
"We're calm and of course I'm optimistic," Jose Maria Ramos explained in an interview with Jugones.
"We trust that he will stay.
"Everything will be fixed."
