Kota Kinabalu: The BIMP-Eaga Business Council (BEBC) Malaysia described the appointment of two women as Attorney-General of Sabah and Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City as an appreciation and recognition towards the contribution made by the women in administering the Sabah State affairs under the able leadership of GRS State government, Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Noor.

“Sometimes, we have to do things the different way in order to achieve greater results and success.  Appointing women to take the lead at top position is a sure way to instil greater accountability and work discipline,” said BEBC Malaysia President Datuk Roselan Johar Mohamad.

He said the latest two appointments made by the Chief Minister of Sabah showed that this government has enough guts to make changes when it is due and appropriate.
