Mafi to ensure allocation used well, says Kiandee

BELURAN: The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (Mafi) will ensure that the allocation given to it is used properly, including to further boost the agriculture sector in Sabah.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee said Sabah was a significant and leading food producer in the country.

“The development in agriculture in the State will boost this industry in the years to come,” he told reporters after attending the Christmas Day celebration organised by the Telupid Council of Churches in Kampung Bauto, here, Sunday night.

Kiandee, who is also Beluran MP, said this was in line with the Federal and State Government’s commitment to continue the development for the people of Sabah.
