Safa City welcomes Bung with immediate backing

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Football Association Bandaraya (Safa City) welcomes the appointment of Deputy Chief Minister cum Works Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar as Safa acting President.

The appointment with immediate effect which had the consent from Chief Minister Datu Seri Hajiji Mojd Noor and endorsed by the Safa supreme council was announced by Safa deputy President Dato’ Rahman Zakaria in a press conference on Monday.

Safa Bandaraya President Alijus Sipil said on Thursday that Bung is more than capable to lead the state body and believes he can bring positive changes to enable the sport to progress further.

 “I believe the presence of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar in Safa will help to bring further success to the state team and also the development of the sport in the state.
