THE State Community Development and People’s Well-Being Ministry (KPMKR) will continue to empower women by offering programmes and assistance to build women up. Its Minister Shahelmey Yahya (pic) said the State Government has approved RM1.83 million to his ministry to fund projects and programmes under the Sabah Women Affairs Department (Jhewa) for this purpose. The projects include Competent Women Leadership Development Program (RM350,000), Single Mother Entrepreneur Development Program (RM500,000), Gender group development project (RM250,000), Women entrepreneurship development project (RM200,000), Digital ledger women entrepreneur project (RM430,000) and WiSE System upgrade project (RM100,000).
