Sabah Unity Cup hopes for Jan start

Kota Kinabalu: The new look Sabah Unity Cup Football Tournament organised by the Penampang Unity Football Club is tentatively set to start this month (January).

Organising chairman Edwin Jomiji (pic) said on Sunday that the exact starting date would depend on the availability of venues due to the current Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

 “Unlike the previous years, the annual tournament in its 11th edition will be played in a full league system divided into two categories namely the Mix Veteran and the Super Veteran.

 “If all goes well, we hope the tournament will begin sometime this month.
