Stepping stone to career in beauty for 50

PAPAR: Some 50 participants hope their recent week-long training in beauty therapy will be a stepping stone to a fruitful career.

The course by Excellence Skill Academy started on Dec 28, 2020 through funding from the Agriculture and Fisheries Ministry in the hope of helping locals across the State to venture into fields that contribute to their livelihood.

Jennifer Juss, 31, from Papar said she had always been interested in this field.

The mother of three has been working in a beauty salon here since 2008.
