Released Manchester United midfielder Arnau Puigmal has returned home to Spain with Almeria.
The former Espanyol prospect has been allowed to come off contract by United this month.
Puigmal moves to Almeria on a free transfer, signing a contract to 2026.
Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona, among other teams, were interested in Puigmal and he was close to joining Barça B in January.
At Almeria, Puigmal will be reunited with his former Manchester United teammate Largie Ramazani.
