VfB Stuttgart chief Sven Mislintat has declared they have a permanent option for Arsenal defender Dino Mavropanos.
The Greek is on a season-long loan at VfB from Arsenal.
And Mislintat has announced the deal includes a permanent option, declaring after victory over Hoffenheim on Sunday: "We have a purchase obligation of three million euros if we are to remain in the league."
In the event of relegation, the Swabians also have an option to continue to keep Mavropanos with the club.
“In both cases we would have the chance to take him. I think it's pretty clear what's going to happen to him," added Mislintat.
