Newcastle United signing Bruno Guimaraes has paid tribute to former club Lyon.
Guimaraes has also thanked OL sports chief Juninho for signing him.
He told RMC: "I am grateful for all the history built in Lyon. Thank you for the opportunity and affection you have had over the past few years. I grew up as an athlete and as a human being. Glad to know that my departure will help the club in one way or another. That's always been my thought. Repay all affection received.
"I will carry the club forever in my heart. Juninho, thank you for the trust, friendship and professionalism of the time we were together. Without you this story would not be written. Thanks also to the President for his trust. My eternal gratitude, OL."
