Saint-Maximin excited by Newcastle signing Guimaraes

Allan Saint-Maximin is excited about Bruno Guimaraes' arrival at Newcastle United.

The Magpies completed a €50.1m deal to sign the Brazilian defensive midfielder from Lyon on Sunday.

Scouted heavily by Arsenal and Tottenham, Guimaraes is a huge signing for the struggling Magpies.

And Saint-Maximin can't wait to link up with his new teammate, writing on Instagram: "What a player, welcome my friend."

24-year-old Guimaraes could be in line to make his debut against Everton on February 8.
