
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's new Covid-19 cases dropped to 3,735 today but the sporadic case rate was still high indicating future cases can still rise sharply, said an update.
Today's rate of sporadic cases or cases whose origins are unknown were 66.45 percent, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
A total of 99.92 percent of today's new cases were asymptomatic or light infections.
Meanwhile, 38,647 children between five and 11 years of age have been vaccinated out of 411,400 eligible.
